Of the analogue modelling synths, the Jupiter 8 and Prophet 5 especially are getting a bit long in the tooth as they still essentially run DSP code from 10-15 years ago.

The Mini V3 was updated to use ZDF filters, and I'm pretty sure others like the SEM, Synthi etc. When I feel like paying $10 for an instrument I'll get a kazoo.The V Collection is a bit uneven since some of the synths haven't been updated in a long time (in terms of sound engine), while the more recent ones (from around the V4/V5 era and later) use more modern sound engines. Not to mention endless bugs that ensure their VSTs crash, and crash again, and again. 20 years of software development and still can't implement a ZDF filter. They don't have the talent to put out a top shelf product. This is a company that's had, what, 20 years now to get its act together? They published their first emulation in 2003 if I recall right. Why have one great instrument when you can have 24 mediocre ones? We give you more but it's pretty mediocre. Arturia, quantity over quality since 2000 and whenever. They should change their marketing blurb.
